Hey Everyone-
This Thursday for my ward's Relief Society Meeting (enrichment) we're making watches. You're all invited to buy beads if you'd like (since I was put in charge of it). My friend is coming to teach ladies in my ward how to make them. Please don’t feel like you have to stay, just stop by and browse through her selection. She bought a whole bunch of faces & beads in bulk-so there will be plenty.
The price: .5 - .65 per bead
Faces: $8-$10
Pre-made bands: $15
Time: 6:30
My church building is located on 15th street.
Head west on 17th-and turn right (north) on Curtis (just 2 blocks before Yellowstone) then take a right on 15th and you'll see it
Call me if you have any questions: 716-5243
Thanks,
Marci

Watch Making Party!!
I don't know about you guys, but I am in dire need of a PARTY! So, our beading club is having a watch making party! It will be on Wednesday, September 30th at 8:00 p.m. at Melanie's house.
If you still haven't bought your beads, here are some ideas. I found them off of http://beadblossomdesign.blogspot.com/ You can go there for even more ideas.
If you still haven't bought your beads, here are some ideas. I found them off of http://beadblossomdesign.blogspot.com/ You can go there for even more ideas.
- Beads (it looks like you need between 12-15 medium-large beads, depending on the size and some spacer beads
- 2 Spacer Bars......I think you can find them at the craft/beading stores, but I haven't had a chance to look yet. There are a bunch of different kinds so I thought we should each pick out our own. They need to have at least 2 holes in them. If you've never seen them, you can go to this website to see what they look like: http://www.beadsgalore.com/Search.aspx?keyword=bars
- Watch Face - with the bars on either side
I will have 3 different sizes of lobster clasps which run about 30-35 cents per clasp that you can buy that night or bring your own (You will need 4 of them). I will provide the stretchy cord and the jewelry glue.
Mel's Disclaimer: I have NEVER made one of these watches so there are no guarantees for perfection. I think it will be fun. Leave me a comment to tell me if you are planning on coming. :)

THE $2.50 EARRING
So last week at t-ball Kimri was wearing here earrings we made at Jen’s and they just looked so cute that I decided to wear mine the next day.
As I’m getting ready for bed that night, my $5.00 earrings are now a $2.50 earring.
I have no idea where I could have lost it, I vacuumed earlier, went to golf lessons, the zoo, played in the yard, and who knows what else. So sad!!!
I’m keeping my fingers crossed I’ll just run across it one day.
Everyone have a great and safe 4th weekend and we'll see ya next month!

Timeless Turquoise Bracelet
Okay ladies –
Bracelets are going to cost more. There was only one I could see on artbead.com for $10 and I didn’t like it. They had approx 3 for $20ea. and I really liked this one.
So since it is twice as much as we had talked about, let’s meet on August 20th at 8:30pm. This will give us an a little extra time to come up the cost. Have your $20 payments to me by Wednesday, July 29th.
Hope you can come!!!
