August 7th 11:00am, they are doing a wrap around ring, it has 2 beads on it. Should be fast and simple. Shouldn't be more that $5 depending on what 2 beads you select to put on. No tuition, just the cost of supplies. I've singed up for the class if anyone else wants to join me, I'll be there!

I've Got The Bug
So I've got the jewlery, need time with grown ups bug. I saw these on ArtBeads.com and liked them and was wondering if anyone would want to get together for jewlery night sometime in April.
They would be $13.00 and should be fairly easy to put together.
Anyhow, I would be willing to host at my house but I know a couple of you are "career-widows" right now and if it would make it easier for one of you to put up your house so you could get together, too, I could still collect the $$$ and make the order.
I was thinking maybe the night of the 7th or 14th. Let me know what your think.
Have a happy . . .

Rosettes
Okay girls, these are beautiful... and what we are going to attempt to make~
This gives a good idea of using different fabrics. I never thought of using a silk....
They are also shown here.
So cute!! I am way excited to make these!
Let me know if you are bringing your own fabric and clips/headbands or if you would like me to have them here. I am good either way.

Hairbows!
Just thought I'd plan a little party and break up our exciting tax season going on here!!
I made these bows with the help of my talented sister in law, and thought I'd share the idea.
I don't have a close up picture of the rosettes, but they are cute also. I will try to make some more and post those pics soon.
In the meantime....
Save this date:
Thursday, February 11th
8:00
What you need:
To make one like this, I used 1/8 yard cotton fabric.
Home decor fabric looks the best in my opinion.
Hair clips or head bands to hot glue it to.
Ribbon if you want to cover your clips or headbands.
If you want any gems or buttons to hot glue to the rosettes, it looks really cute.
2-4" wide sheer ribbon makes a really cute bow also. (The brown bow in the above picture)
If anyone has scissors or hot glue guns they can bring that would be great.
I will be making some more this week and post some up close pictures.
Let me know if you have any questions. See you then!
